Leslie Nguyen-Okwu

Leslie Nguyen-Okwu is the daughter of Vietnamese refugees and Nigerian immigrants. She is seeking representation for American Hyphen, a memoir-in-progress about race, identity, and belonging across the Asian and Black diaspora. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, BBC, National Geographic, The Economist and Harper’s Bazaar.
