The World’s Remotest Pub

The Albatross Bar on the tiny island of Tristan da Cunha, an overseas territory of the United Kingdom in the South Atlantic Ocean, is the world’s remotest pub. In fact, the pub is situated in a settlement known as Edinburgh of the Seven Seas, which itself is the most remote permanent settlement on Earth—in the middle of the ocean somewhere between Cape Town and Buenos Aires.
